When my husband Jonathan and I were looking for a place to call home 30 years ago, we were drawn to Matteson. It just felt right.
Today, we’re as confident as ever that we made the right choice to build our home and raise our family here. And as we think about retirement, the lure of warmer weather isn’t going to pull us away. We’re here to stay.
Yet, we’re not blind to the problems in this community. We must do more to create jobs and economic activity. We have to end the nepotism and political shenanigans in the city. We have to put taxpayers first.
I’m running for mayor with a plan to build on what makes Matteson great, and to show families just like ours why they should be here for the long term. I look forward to talking with you to share my vision.
